TennoLink

Frequently asked questions

What almost everyone asks the first time. If something is missing, say so on Discord and we will add it.

What is TennoLink? Do I play here?

No. This is where you get organised: you create a lobby for whatever you want to do, someone joins and you sort it out between you. The mission is played inside Warframe, as always. TennoLink does not touch the game and does not automate anything.

Do I need an account?

Not to look around: the lobby list is public, and so is the message for asking the host for a slot in-game. You need an account to create a lobby or to reserve your slot from the website.

How do I get into a lobby?

You ask for a slot and the host decides. Once they accept you, the lobby page gives you the message ready to copy and the invite command: that is what takes you from the browser to the game.

Why did my lobby disappear?

Lobbies expire on their own. When you create one you pick how long it lasts (15, 30 or 60 minutes) and you can extend it up to three hours. That is on purpose: a list full of lobbies from yesterday is no use for finding a group now.

Nothing makes a sound when a notification arrives

Sound is off by default and is per device: turn it on in Settings → Notifications, on whichever one you want to hear. Only lobby things make a sound; a new follower shows up on screen, but quietly.

Settings → Notifications

What are badges and achievements?

Badges are granted by the team by hand and each one is explained on its own page. Achievements are worked out by the site from your lobbies, so they can go up and down.

Is my in-game name checked?

Not yet: you type it yourself. Someone having an IGN set does not prove they are that person inside Warframe, so trust what happens in the lobby, not the name.

Can I report someone?

Yes. There is a report button on every lobby and every profile, and on a picture that should not be there. It goes straight to the team queue.

How do I delete my account?

In Settings → Privacy, by yourself and with nothing to ask for. It is really deleted: your profile, your picture, your lobbies, who you follow, your notifications and your alerts.

Settings → Privacy

Is it free? Are there ads?

It is free, there are no ads and there is no analytics or tracking. The only things kept in your browser are what your session needs and your language.

What we keep about you

Is this official Warframe?

No. TennoLink is a community project with no connection to Digital Extremes. Warframe and everything about it is theirs; the activity icons are game art, used non-commercially so you can see at a glance what each lobby is about.
